Creating and Editing

Credits are consumed when you or your app’s users perform specific actions. There are two types:
  • Chat Credits: Lumi utilizes a usage-based chat credit system, where sending a message deducts chat credits. The cost of each message is determined by its complexity, ensuring you only pay for what you use.
  • Tool Credits: These are used when your websites use Lumi’s internal tools like file storage and email service.

Absolutely. Your website is designed for continuous evolution. You can use the AI Chat at any time to add new features, change functionality, alter layouts, or adjust the tone. You can then republish (update) your website as many times as you need.
Clarity and detail are key. While our AI is highly intuitive, you’ll achieve the best results by providing specific information about the app’s purpose, its intended users, and its most critical features. For more guidance, please see our Prompting Guide.
Don’t worry—iteration is a core part of the creative process. If the initial result isn’t quite right, try refining your prompt with more specific details or rephrasing your request. Experimenting with different instructions is the best way to achieve your ideal outcome.
Yes, you can easily clone any app to experiment with changes without affecting the original. Navigate to the side navigation -> Click the “More actions” button of the item you want to copy -> Click “Remix”.

Publishing & Sharing

Deployment is seamless. Every Lumi website includes built-in hosting, so there’s no technical setup required. Your application is live and shareable the moment it’s published.
Click the publish icon in the top-right corner of the project’s page. From there, you can copy the web’s URL directly and then share it with others.
Yes, you can export your entire website at any time. Click “Export” in the top-right corner to download your project as a Zip file. Please note that this is only available in Pro plans.
Yes, custom domains are supported for Pro users.
You can learn more in our custom domain guide. Please note that this is a premium feature available for Pro users.
  • Navigate to Dashboard → Custom Domain.
  • Click Add domain and enter the domain you own.
  • Follow the on-screen instructions to update the DNS records with your domain provider.
  • Once propagated, your app will be live. (Please allow up to 48–72 hours for DNS changes to take full effect).

Billing & Upgrades

If you exhaust your credits, you have following options: wait for your monthly credits to reset or upgrade to a higher-level Pro plan to continue building without interruption.
No, your credit balance resets at the start of each billing cycle. Any unused credits do not carry over.
Paid plans offer a higher credit allowance and unlock advanced features.
You can cancel your subscription at any time. Go to Manage Subscription, click on Manage your subscription, and then go to the Stripe page and cancel the subscription. Your plan will remain active until the end of the current billing period.
To apply a gift code, go to Manage Subscription, click on Gift Code and submit the code you get.

Yes, data security is a top priority. Our platform includes built-in user management and authentication systems that employ industry-standard encryption and best-in-class security practices to protect your data and your users’ information.

Please be aware that this action is permanent and cannot be undone.
No. We do not use any of your prompts or app data to train our own or any third-party AI models. Your intellectual property and data remain exclusively within your secure environment.
